turbo upgrade?!

correct, and fitted the T34 core on it. In March you get the results from this new engine (Nico's engine, the guy who was with me at sixpenny-middle of nowhere-handly) ;).

.55 works better. The .63 housing on a t34 surged its tits off. That was with the henk fastchip supplied to Lee.

Tony, Lee had the .70 compressorhousing fitted and the chip wasnt done by fastchip but was a real GrA jobbie that ive got from renault. Henk just copied the chip.

this thing is relisted over and over again. I contacted the seller ages ago. The P/N number says that this turbo is OEM fitted to the: Rolls Royce Arnarge 6.75L
Dont think you wanna go that way, LOL
Here are the garrett numbers:
Turbo type-TB0303.
part no# 713333-4.

That turbo is good, just don't use the exhaust housing. Dave, larson and a few others have them, its the same as a cosworth 4x4 apart from the exhaust housing

I don't want to change the chip because of fuel economy. Is .63 really surged?

Do you think this seller is the fraud? But feedback is really good... And the price too.

And what I must buy to fit it? I have the good welder, but I don't know what kind of parts I need.

The seller aint a fraud, the housing is just to big. Especialy when you dont wanna go for any ecu-changements.

Jo's got the same as me, mine did come from the states, but someone got it for me. Could try these

Just need to get someone to make me a nice new downpipe now

I'm running one of these (http://www.gt3turbo.com/Merchant/product.php?productid=48&cat=335&page=1 with the .63 cossie housing, 3inch system all though and a genuine renaultsport ecu.
Spools up at 3500 (17 psi) and really wants to keep going but the cam's holding it back alot at the top.

(no it's not making any where near what the link says but hoping to get near 350 on the new motor with a silly cam, custom long rods and short pistons and high rpm)

Thank you guys. I see it is no good for me.
But where I can get new or refurbished charger for such good price? :(

By the way Jo, the mani is coming along well, i'm in the process of hand forming the sheet metal (3mm stainless) to adapt from a split t4 to a normal t3.
Problem is it's been below zero for a long time and i've got no heating in the workshop, but now back on track again so making good progress.

Not on my current engine, its on the way out and i simply cant be bothered to change the engine till it warms up a bit so i can ride to work while the quadra's off the road and i wanted to get it back to you soon as possible unless you want a back to back comparison once mines sorted?

I've got a turbo for sale: T34 met .48 turbine and T4 compressor 70AR

Jo can fill you on all specs ;-)

Damn, this goes way back (in time)...

Bought them brandnew from ATP turbo, 1 for Phill and 1 for myself. The housing was to small for the route whe wanted to go and changed bought units for GT series with .63 housings. As far as i remember, thats the story behind it. My car did 238 at the wheels with this turbo and took it off withing the run-in mileages. No idea what it does on any std engine, never tested that.
