TRW1 Progress Report

Balance sheet would frighten Warren Buffett......
Hardly a good investment but it should provide some fun.

tim have you got any info on the newman cams profiles and spec droped scott an e mail about them due to the fact that they will need to be set on verneers just wonderd if you have that info ? before i start getting on scotts case

No info I'm afraid Ray.......Damax ordered and fitted them into my last engine and the new one (bottom end built by them too) came with cams already in. I never got to see them in a box which might have had details...
I wanted to speak to them at Autosport but they were busy when I was near their stand.
I would phone or email them directly http://www.newman-cams.com/ The catalogue on the website doesn't show info on the V6 but Scott would only have to ring them too I guess.....
Would be interesting to know the specs and to compare them to standard Mk1 and Mk2 profiles...

Tim

The hole lets hot air escape from the back of the rad and according to Mark's data is pretty effective.
The carbon sheet simply looks neater than all the (top secret) chaos underneath, I had loads left over from the project so we're just putting it to use.
The fish tank idea I'm sure is workable but ironing boards and tumble dryers are a dark art and beyond me......

I didn't think it was possible; but the maddest-looking Vee just got madder. [smilie=icon_eek.gif]
Not planning a cast-off BTCC spoiler to finish? [smilie=icon_exclaim.gif]

I think we may have found the mystery Euro lottery winner in Kent!!!!!!!

If I do some pastry cases and follow you I'll pick up the pre sliced rabbit for some pies.

If Mark puts a secondary map in we can then use the exhaust flames to cook 'em - brilliant, saves a fortune on Ginsters and suddenly the whole project is viable and if we eat enough pies ultimately self funding.

Mike

The hope is that this will work for all manner of pies.....pheasant, rabbit, small children, etc.
It will be height adjustable from within the car to suit the diner's slicing preference.
The size of flame can be adjusted but we need to have a chat about cooking times.......I'm off the pies for now so we'll need a taster to perfect things. Mike, I know you're a health nut but perhaps with your contacts you might be able to recommend someone..?
