Iain i have had both spoilers on the vee and must say the trophy one looks the best, not to big. The trophy spoiler come's with an indent for the v6 brake light but no washer jet but i am sure it would be easy to cut a hole out as the spoiler mould is hollow.
There are a few ways of getting the trophy spoiler to fit:-
1. The easiest is to use the original mould and leave the inverted f/glass hollow fingers (4 of them) on the spoiler and screw a nut and bolt through them into the tailgate. The overall look isn't pretty and for the better look you need to do one of the below:
2. My chosen option was to cut the hollow fingers off and fibreglass and bodyfill over, i then fibreglassed the underneath enough to allow me drill though the top and bury a bolt in the spoiler body, open the top of the hole enough to sink and hide the bolt head with a layer of filler. This leaves 4 bolt sunken into the body of the spoiler, heads covered and bolt shank showing to fix to the tailgate using a nut.
3. OR if you can get hold of a second spoiler, cut the base plate off it and bond it to the trophy's inner body, this allows the use of original fitting and ellimates the tricky lining up of the sunken/hidden bolts. The hollow fingers will still need cutting off and the spoiler top glassing and skimming to hide the holes.
Hope this helps?
