Apologies for the lack of meets and interaction with the Scottish battalion.
Anyway, it’s time for the ‘Scotland meet’ so to Spk and I really want a good turn out. If possible all of us!
The ‘Proposed date is Saturday the 4th of Oct’ , however at this early stage we can bend the date. But preferable before that date as my Vee comes off the road for the winter the end of Oct.
The route will be once again starting at my house, nice and central to the west coast roads and a nice picture opportunity to boot. G84 7AX is my PC in Helensburgh; however I’ll be comin down from Aberdeen the night before.
Proposed route, Inc stops. I know most of you are familiar with the roads, but fook me they are epic…on a good day or bad!

Depart Helensburgh
Garelochhead
Arrochar
Rest and be Thankful
Via Oban
Glen Coe
Etc
Obviously I’ll work out a proper route with the old man, he’s familiar with all the roads from frequent classic car runs…We’ll avoid are dicey roads…
I given a good bit of notice for this, so hopefully people can plan for it and put a weekend aside. I’m guilty of saying I’ll do something then pulling the plug as I’ve not accounted for it either money or time wise…So lets make this a good one.
Views first of all…Then we’ll firm up the details, I’ll take care of booking restaurants and writing the route, but obviously any input will be invaluable!
