One of my mates has just trashed £2700 on a Ribble gravel bike too, I was about to get myself one but after my fridge packed in (£970 bill) and the 9 'box and LSD box for the Megane just dropped another £800, I think I'll hold off lol

I don't have a motor to spend money on! So I thought sod it I'll treat myself to a brand spanking all new model at 2.5k, the sale of the Cannondale at 1.2k is a nice offset

Went out for a drive in my new Clio Raider last weekend and took this picture:

One of my old junior school mates made a smart comment about it being a US plane, and challenged me to get a photo at the local RAF Base with the Harrier that’s sat outside... on my bike 🚲!

So this morning I nipped out for a ride on my bike, and got this:

Had to bike by the side of the A1 Northbound on a rather knackered path.. but at least I wasn’t on the dual carriageway!!

The beauty of the gravel bike for me is that regardless of the weather it'll just crack on and see through it all. Rains in the morning, and with the right clothing a nice 36 mile ride along the trails and a new loop added on. So this will more than likely be one of the last rides out on the Cannondale Topstone as the Grizl should be here 🤞sometime next week.

New bike arrives this Thursday so I've ordered new Canyon side loading bottle cages and bottles. 1 is 600ml the other bottle 750ml, the reason for the smaller bottle is to clear the frame bag...... Which I've also ordered as well. I already have an Apidura frame bag, for me they're made to a high quality. The fact they've teamed up with Canyon to develop new bags meant it was a no brainer to order one. New Shimano Deore pedals ordered as well which arrive tomorrow..... So..... I have everything in place to kit out the new bike.

BOOOOOOOM 💥

Im guessing a bit of rain won’t be stopping you getting your new baby out this weekend..!
Typical that this weekend I'm busy! Wembley Stadium on the Saturday for the FA Trophy final and probably in no fit state the Sunday 🍺

I going to patiently wait for the bottles and cages as well, plus I'm thinking of treating it to some 160mm Dura Ace discs before I bed those pads in
