You popped the sir clip in the gearbox

Weld the clip back in or get the thing on ebay that bolts the clip in!!

Is the coolant leaking from the frost penny,HG or cracked block?

The leak seems to come from the head gasket. The gearbox on there is going to scrap and will be replaced by a JB3 since someone on the RR facebook page told me that the JB1 just isnt the same.

Just got word from the tech shop. Engine needs new valves, pulleys and so on Looks like it is going to become a longer project then first thought.

I have a set of sleeves. No rubber what so ever. Ill add a picture tomorrow.

Erm yeah, sort of. Mine didnt look like that. But if they fit, they fit.

Why havent you fitted them?

The whole set was just put together for the picture. Everything is still in boxes waiting for assembly day. Assembly day is postponed to the future because i still haveng got my subframe from powdercoating. The biggest thing missing is the replacement brake parts that should replace the so much hated bendix abs. So far im doing great and if everything goes on with the same speed i should be up and running for iceroad rally series.

Whats wrong? The lake ice is smoother then silk its the same as trackday only held on lakes and selfmade ice roads. Its there you dont need power to succeed.

Of course. The only rule is that they have to be road legal. No racing studs.

Well got some news that the engine overhauling parts are going to be 415 euros total. basicly double the money i payd for the car

Hey mate! Can you give a feedback on how the Megane top mounts are different than the 19 ones? If there's a difference at all... The 19 ones are back in stock at the Renault dealers (also for a quite reasonably price! In germany at least, that is...) but as we all know you'll always have to be on the lookout for alternatives...

If you look at them side to side there is nothing diffrent. But the Lithuanian chap who gave me the idea told me, that the wheel angle would be a little diffrent but it will help you if you go on a track. Im sorry my english is a bit poor and i dont know the tehchnical words. Here in Estonia i got the megane pieces for 80euro a piece. Now i have found a small suplier who offered me the R19 ones for 120 euros a piece.
