@KiwiGordini not sure what order i went from this, ive had a fiat 126 that i slammed on gottis, then sold, now tinkering with a clio mk1 that has the renault 5 gt turbo engine swapped into it. Ill have to update this thread though, the chap who had it got busy quite quickly

This may actually be a genius move,
Buy cool car and make it cooler,
Realise it needs a metric ton of welding and sell on,
Guy buys it and does all the welding, loses will to live and swears no more projects and sells the one that broke him,
Buy back car and count all the pennies you saved by not sending it to a garage to restore

So insurance is sorted, through Lancaster, they have insured all my classics over the years and have been really good to me. £104 fully comp, sdp+c with windscreen cover (they assure me they will get one if needed or have to have it made) limited millage, suspension changes listed as a modification.
