Want to know if the TDC Sensor has the P/N: 60 25 403 357 ?

and is there a cheaper, common alternative to the Renault one?

My mechanic is saying that might be a faulty TDC sensor making the car has to turn-over twice before firing-up.

I've just had my TDC sensor changed under an aftermarket warranty and the cost was about £130 from Renault (Ph2).

Not sure its solved my problem though as it did have another warm start moment on Sunday where it must have turned 4-5 times before it fired...

Thanks guys. Awesome quick response from you guys!

I have the same problem too with cold AND warm starts. Will check with the mechanic tomorrow and see if it is just this one little part will cure it.

Just spoke with my mechanic and he wants to double check whether this is the sensor that is situated on the gearbox housing and reads the crank angle from the flywheel.

I showed him the parts drawing that James has kindly put up and it isn't real clear whether the sensor is located on the gearbox/bell housing.

Anyone can confirm?
