Tamiya TL-01 Project

Cool couple of projects you got yourself there Ash.

Roughly how long a run do you get with the 3700mAh cell on board?

Let me know next time you are taking the cars out and I can bring some tomato plants up for Emma.

I dont use the 3700 cause it was naff :( my bad for begin a newbie and buying it 2nd hand off ebay! I got a 2000 and 2300 that I use at the mo, I get about 15/20/25 mins on each I would say im not to sure  but I aint to worried at the moment because my charger is pretty poo (n)

I am learning about the wiring and what not now like conectors and balancing batterys, then I might try lipo and brushless oneday, but not unless its a kit for now cause I can bearly solder a wire together, but I would love to learn it, because the wires I want to be all black hummm or maybe blue...? :D

I might be down next weekend, but i took my drift beast out today and nearly lost some bits so the thread lock is on order (y) also want to take my mini down and I dont think I can work on it till this weekend, but I will defo be there on the 26th (y) i'll let ema know she has things to kill on the way ;)

money hungry little suckers

hey i saw your thread linked to another site and thought i'd take a look as fans of the tl-o1 seem to be in short supply these days and it's good to know that some of us still exist. i have a very highly modified tl with long span arms, turn buckle tie rods, alloy servo mounts, q/r battery clamp, carbon gear shafts, carbon prop rod, speed tuned gears, titanium axels, front one way diff, rear manta ray ball diff, rebuildable cv's with alloy rear shafts, trf damper set, all trf spring sets and tamiya lightweight wheels fixed to alloy clamp on centre hubs. i have ran very mild electronic setups as well as very insane setups melted chassis and snapped or cracked nearly every part of the car (not a single part remains from the original car) and it has caused me lots of head aches but i still love to drive it and to this day i cant think why the chassis just has that magnetic appeal. if you have any questions about them that your unsure of just shout out and i'll attempt to help.

(3800ah batterys run fast for over 35mins with a very good speedy and a super stock brushed motor and about 15mins with a good modified motor around 7 turns(y))
