I have to say something here...........and that is NO to the Cayman, especially if you are moving from a GT3 (or any other Motorsport variant). Period.
As far as Porsches go, do not get into "mass market" Porsches from the 986 & 996 onwards , especially if you like the true driving experience, since the marketing department has had too much of a say in the way the package is put together.
Having said that Evo (Richard Meadon) is singing praises of the new Cayman (seems to be far superior to the first generation, including the R), and then may be pick up one these in a couple of years (since they are bound to devalue in no time), and in the meantime buy and enjoy a Vee. Job done. Best of both worlds.
