Spotted #133, YA53 WOB (Titanium)

Seen Jim Green's old Vee passing the Shell Garage in Ickenham around 10.00 am today (22nd May 2012).

I test drove this one in July/Aug 2011 when I was looking to purchase a Vee.

Guess the current owner is not a member here as the register has not been updated since Jim sold the car, which subsequently changed hands many times since then.

Excellent stuff Trevor. Do you go through Ickenham often - never seen the Vee before? I live on ther side, in North Hillingdon, just off Long Lane, but more often than not get my petrol from the Shell garage in Ickenham.

I live in Rickmansworth and was on my way or way back from getting a dump valve for the GTA. Don't go regularly through there, more often Harefieldand Swakelys Corner and onto the A40 to the Ace Cafe.

You were heading towards Swakeleys Road - I was at the Shell garage, which would have been on your left.

Next time you head for the Ace Cafe let me know I may join you.

Will do. I often go up the Ace for different meets in different cars. Just in case you don't know, the third Monday of the month is Renault classic and performance nights so am there and the third Wednesday is Lotus/TVR/Noble/Ginnetta night and am a Lotus fan so there too. Classic cars are second Tuesdays and second Mondays are Petrolhead Nirvana, all good nights and make them when I can.

Haven't been to a Renault one - I believe the last one was on the 21st May, so guess the next one would be 18th June. Will put it in my diary.

I think you'll find it's 'french classic and performance' or the guy on the gate thinks Pugs ant Citroens are renaults :rofl:
