image.webp image.webp image.webp image.webp image.webp image.webp image.webp Hi guys,
Took advantage of dry and cool day to get the car out for a once over.
(How not to please the wife)
Throughly enjoyed myself. I'm not sure about anyone else, most car play time is spent in the garage under artificial light or of an evening.
So it was great to get it out in the open for the day.
Was planning to fit my b pillar badges, however I'm not convinced they are 100% genuine.
Maybe someone could confirm either way if they know, I've included them within a few pics of the car I thought I would share.
Thanks guys.

Tidy. Its been a while but I don't think the badge is genuine, but I don't think you can get originals these days.
Also, not that it appears to breathe vapours but you may want to relocate the oil breather, or refit the oe pipe that goes to the telephone hose.

Ref; oil breather. Thanks for this. It's on the list of jobs to do. Want to get an original one and the pipe also. Im sure the hole in the telephone hose is not doing me any favours! :ac:
Bit of a novice, so it's pigeon steps for me I'm affraid.

Thanks, like you im sure, its my pride and joy!
No doubt not worth as much as whats been spent on it though.
You know what they say,
If its got tits or tyres....... Its going to be trouble. :grin.gif:

Hey, Guys.
Im working on getting everything on the car back to standard, as it come off the line.
Just a quick one. Am i right in thinking the oe pipe goes from the "T" piece behind the rocker cover straight to the telephone hose?
What purpose does the oil breather serve when the oe breather pot is still fitted?
Thanks!

Yeah, remove the breather and it should be there. The pipe is s shaped and should be a plastic insert in the telephone hose.
Nothing where it is. That is supposed to be removed along with the carb pipe then the aftermarket breather placed on top of the oe breather pot. Makes the car smell more oily though.
