5 GT Turbo Solex 32 dis tuning with stroker kit

Hi,

I recently rebuild a C1J with 1,6 stroker kit, upgrade exhaust manifold, gt2560r turbo and upgrade intercooler.
It made 198 hp at 0,9 bar which is great i think, but it leaned out, so i changed from 135 main jet to 145.
Now the afr is around 11 when cruising.
I did nothing else than changing the main jet, what else would you guys recommend?
Thinking about EFI, but until then i just want it to run a bit nicer.

Thanks in advance.

Change the main jet back to 130, drill out the 2nd stage enrichment fixed jet. 1.1mm to start with going up to 1.2 or 1.3 if you need more fuel.

Next step would be smaller air corrector. Drop down to 0.9mm.

I would personally just convert to efi if you want it to run nice. Far superior.

Playing with Main jet alters fuel slope across the board, bottom to top. Adjusting Air corrector tends to alter top end fuelling more.
As a general rule of Thumb you will need about 3 steps on the air corrector to make the same top end change that one step on the fuel jet would make.
One step being 0.1mm diameter change.
If you can read AFR in car then as the Man says go in 0.1mm steps. It is rich on cruise, so going weaker will be better for it, but the full power fuelling does not want to be weak, as that is bad news full stop.

Thank you guys for the replies, i will try your suggestions.
Yes i fitted a Innovate SCG-1 boost controller with AFR gauge that will cut boost when it goes lean.
@Brigsy I really want to go EFI, but i think it seems as a big project and i can't find any kits.

Hi, im new to the forum and discovered it while searching for jetting info on the 32 dis Solex, can someone please tell me is the second stage fixed jet actually referred to as the idle jet? i am currently tuning a Turbocharged Yamaha motorcycle using a Solex 32
Thankyou for any replies
