Just wanted to put a note on here as payed my first visit to Scott at SG on Friday to collect some parts from him that I had ordered to carry out a service on my Vee at the weekend. I decided to go for genuine Renault brake pads and spark plugs and other assorted consumables so that the car remains as original as possible.
I'd heard really good things about Scott and SG through the forum and it is all 100% justified, a great bloke who seems genuinely enthusiastic about Vee's and cars in general. Another bonus was that my run down to him from the Midlands was superb! Used the Fosse Way and the Vee was hugely entertaining!
I spent the rest of my weekend under the car carrying out all the jobs which was slowed massively by having to skim my rear discs on my Dads lathe due to the inner surface being corroded. This is just one of the problems I've encountered since buying the car as the previous owner barely used it and it has suffered for standing for so long.
Anyway, cheers to Scott for supplying the parts which have put my car in rude health for the summer!
