Sequential conversion

Ok, I know this has been discussed to death on the forum previously, but I thought I would see if I can get an up to date idea on what is possible.
I know Jack Knight did a conversion (http://www.jackknight.co.uk/press_release/0808_JKD - Sequential Gear shift Press release.pdf) but is it;

A) still available
any good
C) cost efficient
D) the only one on the market?

GTO do one too I believe.

Cost? No idea. I talked to Sadev several (6 or 7) years back about a six speed straight cut sequential clutchless upchange with LSD.

Seven grand. And that was back then. Currently I can get you a Quaiffe ATB LSD fitted and the box fully refurbed for ?1300.

According to Chris, Quaife have ceased production of the uprated primary shafts and in addition most of the bits required for a sequential box are also obsolete therefore costs would rise.

Chris said he felt 'the gain isn't worth the outlay'

iirc Kevin at GTO estimated about ?12k to do it all now and added 'it's what the 21 needs to get it shifting'

The current cost for the Sadev SL90-20 six speed sequential is 12,709.56 euros before tax and with no extras, (ie, gear lever, digital display etc.)
You also have to supply your own UN1-13 modified bell housing. To have ecu controlled "flat shifting" is of course more ?sd!

it's only ?4,200 + VAT BUT it will enable 5 gear changes in less than 1 second!!
