Selling - 21 Turbo (1989)

I currently have owned for the last 8 years a 21 Turbo in Red, first registered on the 23rd March 1990.

The car was acquired for track day use, and unfortunately due to work and family commitments I don't have as much time to use it now and the time has come to sell it on to some interested person out there.

In brief the car has been stripped and is generally in good condition, the car is stripped out with two bucket seats & 4 point harnesses in place with most of the dashboard still in place, it also has a half rollcage fitted to it which cost approx £700 when fitted.

I will take some pictures and upload them later, cost wise what I should be asking I'm not too sure and I'm open to sensible offers. This is a classic car that someone could either restore or continue to use as a trackday car.

In trackday prep the car was once MOT'd and used by myself on the roads.

Should anyone be interested or require further information, then I would be happy to hear from you.

It does, I did a bit back in 2006? when it was owned by @50 shades of tungy dad - mike. Pretty sure that pic was from when he had it too.
Regards price, the average 21 fetches around 1500-2000 for a half decent road legal one. There will only be a small number of people who would be interested stripped out and maybe 3 interested in the cage. Not many will want it as a track car and those who would shell out to restore tend to already have one that needs restoring. Probably looking at 4-800 on Ebay.
Anymore info on the car?
What are the sills, rear arches, rear doors, back panel, front panel and turrets like?
Besides the black bonnet, is the car one colour? Is it badly faded?
Does it still run well? How oily is the engine and underneath?
What does it need for mot?

Personally and obviously you'll double your chances of selling and make more if it's mot'd, just I've found 21 are a very limited market. Those who want one tend to have one, so it has to appeal to those who haven't owned one before so are usually looking for one ready to use.

I'd be interested for a tidy up, trim back up, mot and sell on but I'd offer less than someone looking for a project.
