Seats At Last ;-)

Here are the seats side by side - I think the Reacaros would look good in an Illiad Blue Vee ;-)

Still not sure which ones I will end up in my car but am erring on the side of trying the Momos first to see what they are like.

I have ordered some sliding subframes for a Clio which should be fine for both sets of seats with a small amount of fabrication, these also include the mounting for the seat belt tensioner and comply with safety regulations.

seeing them side by side..te recaro's look far more supportive..

especially in the lower back width, and base side bolsters

...Keep the MOMO's..... :D Sell the recaro's to someone who owns an Illiad Blue Vee.....for "much-cheapness....!!!!"

As much as I`d love to buy the Recaros off you... [smilie=icon_moneyeyes.gif]

You have to fit them. The Momos look cheap in comparison. imho.

when are the 197 recaros available ? my dealer reckons pretty soon , they are without doubt the finest seats ive seen .. lets just hope they ll fit the vee .. i ll be snapping a set up with hte logo hopefully

only thing that put me off those is...

you cant have leather/alcontara if you want the logo, plus they are about £1700 per pair!!

the price i was quoted was more like 950 gbp , unless that was each carnt be surely .. still gotta have em whatever the cost

HI matey my dad has an evo 8 fq 300 with those seats in leather they are very comfee until you go over a bump then you smash your head into the head rest and you dont half know it,

did they have any of the recaro CS range on display at all if so i may go take a peek.

Just received my Cobra subframes and they look pretty good and substantial actually.

Due to their design I am confident they can be adjusted to fit any aftermarket seat with a 4 bolt fixing.

Hmm, could I have some seats fitted for the weekend I wonder ...

Will take some pics later too.

In both cases the sliders need repositioning width ways and additional holes need drilling in the slider bar to match the position of the seat mounting holes front to back. Pretty simple. The seats can be raised, if required, using spacing washers.
