Right folks. Final list. If anyone else I interested in attending please let me know soonest so I can make arrangements with the restaurant; bored of chasing people (Especially those who are on the forum frequently and can't be bothered to reply to PM's!!) )

1. RustedandRotten +1
2. Ali +1
3. Bodyshop23
4. Big Iain +1
5. Roma
6. Pagey

Unfortunately access to the lower rally stage at the Rest is a no go due to new MSA/Forestry Commission regs. Damn! - Would have been fun!

Thanks once again for those signed up! - Looking forward to seeing you all again and closing 2015 with a good run!

Missed this  I was looking forward to some pics at the hairpin :(

What's Mike driving?

Nowt I'm afraid, Iain. Old boys not driven in over a year due to his eye sight. The old dear will be tootling along in the Élan Sprint.

Ali,

Don't think I can make on Saturday,

After driving home yesterday i heard a ticking noise from the rear whilst rolling , this began to get progressively worse. [smilie=icon_eek.gif]

After further investigation discovered this

( split abs reluctor )

Don't suppose anyone local has a replacement part or is it a universal part? James

A cracked ring is extremely painful!! Now that you have removed the offending ring, the car should still be driveable but as you say, no speedo or ABS, if you have a decent sat nav that will act as a speedo and the ABS is only an aid to driving so it wouldn't stop me coming out to play :approve: :approve:

See reluctor rings in members discount area. cjm307 Ali

I've used the link James recommended for replacement Reluctor rings. Fit well and far cheaper and easier than replacing driveshaft which Renault dealers recommend.
As chance would have it my speedo went wonky last week and then the ABS light stayed on so I'm guessing I've got the same issue as you Chris, but not going to stop me being out tomorrow.

Simon, looks like you were unfortunately correct regarding the weather. No-one going to want me behind them in the rain with no ABS !!!

The weathers pretty rubbish but just about to go down and hit the hotel bar.

Vee looked lonely when i parked it in the carpark earlier [smilie=icon_cry.gif]

Thanks for all the info guys " nothing worse than a cracked ring"
Brilliant Ali

Unfortunately the car is now in bits . Relatively easy to access, 3 ball joint bolts and drive shaft nut.
