Some 2118's

I have some pms engine mounts on order so just waiting for them to get made at the moment, I also bought a x-low Jon foz subframe for my drivers seat as being 6ft1 and having a slider fitted my helmet was about 5mm off the roof , awesome product very impressed with it, I can now fit my fist in the gap

Took a massive hit the other week and bought this

That's a k tec S/c bracket btw, with running the sm inlet my charger brackets would just not fit, I could have made my own but for the time and effort involved to make it, k tec are 10 minutes down the road, £300 please

Glad to hear you're back safe and sound.
Sometimes it's just easier to take the hit! I'm messing around with a throttle body adaptor at the moment, but if I didn't have the time I'd just buy something off the shelf.

Thanks guys it was a good trip but glad to be back , was proper wounded when I had to shave this off

It was expensive but for the time it would have taken to make one, and k tec being so close I just went for the easy option

welcome back buddy, looking forward to some more updates. How do you rate the KTAX brackets?

that looks like its seen a bit of work, bet it still works better than current day issue
The a2 is better than the a1. However the main issue with a rifle with a round that big is it tends to go through you not rattle around. You want the round to fragment bits and not soot holes.

So managed to get some rubber on to some metal

And then put them on

Ph1 on 2118s - not convinced just yet, but will give it time

But better than the pro race 2 imo so if anybody wants a set that need refurbed in 16s cheap drop me a pm

i usually love 2118s but the offset looks almost wrong on that, too tucked in? great wheel though.

Yeah I agree they are cup racer 2118s so are ET42 iirc so need about 5mm spacers to bring them out to cup offset, but that's a problem for another day tbh as not overly keen on them yet

Loving this project, I always wanted supercharge the Scenic after looking at Pauls ph1 at RSTuning and him trying convince me let him do it to the F4P, alas I wimped out, quick Q if you don't mind, did you not bin off Ktec mounts and design your own due to their poor quality but now have a set again? have they improved because as you say they are far from cheap, also did you ever find anywhere cheaper for the charger rather than Rotrex direct? I ask seeing as you were helping with other charger conversions at start of thread.

Look forward to more progress

Wayne

Hi Wayne

I initially binned off the k tec brackets due to them being a very poor quality, they were made with aluminum and had a tendency to fracture, so I went with the Omex type design ones that I slightly modified, but after buying the sm inlet the brackets would not fit, so I am now back to the k tec brackets, they are now made from stainless steel and have been re-designed slightly for better fitment.i will be making a cheaper set eventually though

As for a cheaper charger set up, Gmc Motorsport are the cheapest I found at £1656 for a complete system including oil cooler
