Will the wossner's be OK at that sort of power?

I was advised to drop to 8.5:1 compression to keep it safe at around the 350bhp mark

I can only see the wossner's in 9.0:1? I could be wrong.

Rs tuning do Iasa pistons at 8.5:1 which look very good!

Assume so since it was Paul that is sorting me out with all the bits to rebuild it and says it's a 500hp build but he gave me a couple options for rods/pistons

MK3s already that compression standard, due to thicker gasket I'm sure

I now own a Nortech Manifold and Turbosmart Comp 40 gate but I paid a lot less than rrp as it was second hand but brand new, should be here this week

Very nice, are these gas filled when welded? so no cauliflowering on the inside of the weld.

I don't know, it's Nortech built so one of the best.

Well, it's a different flange and uses an external wastegate for one haha.


I've yet to see a tubular mani with any worthwhile results on the Td04, if they were that good everyone would be running one
