Renaultsport National Meet, 17th April 2011

I was just taking a look at other events throughout the year at the heritage museum. There's a Supercar Sunday in June and noticed this in the show info..

Supercar/Sports cars can take part in a paced procession around the 3.7 mile Jaguar Land Rover Test Facility, if you are interested in a test track run please go to our track bookings page.

I know it's a long shot.. but any chance of a possible paced track run on the day?

Hi Lucas,

Unfortunately not an option for us at Gaydon. Different options are being discussed for next year though ;)
Well now cliosport have jumped on the bandwagon we need to keep it fresh. Especially if it is going to happen every year.

Indeed Simon, I read about that on CS.. But with Renault UK at the helm with Chris, I'd like to think we'll be keeping ahead of CS dont you.? ;)

No worries, just thought I'd throw it in..

Nice thought Lucas..

I think the nearest parade lap we'll be involved in will be at FCS, where the organisers have invited us and ClioSport on the circuit. :)

Just 2 weeks to go folks!! [smilie=yay.gif]

There is a big meeting point on the M40, warwick services at 10am. Just wondering what everyones preference would be- meet up as a club then roll in together or just roll up when we get there??
I'll be coming from stoke if anyone will be convoying down that way.

Yes Nas.. I dont recall the name of the pub off hand though.

Simon, isnt Warwick Services, North of Gaydon? Not too practical for us Southerners.. ;) I'm sure there will be an 'en-route' meeting place for the Southern contingency [cmilie=iconcheers.gif]

Services is literally just past the junction for gaydon if coming from the south. Although there is an access road you can leave the services by and then a 5 minute drive down to gaydon.

I'd say the malt shovel again. But if there are 18 of us won't it be a bit tight. But it would look good rolling in together 8)
