I got to spend a day on it to see what could be done with the paintwork.
Some good decontamination and machine polishing stages were enough to remove most swirls, scratches and bring back the lovely gold flake.
To begin...

The wheels, tyres, arches and calipers were cleaned using Auto Finesse products before snow foaming with Avalanche.

This was followed by a quick clean up in the engine bay, a 2 bucket method wash, lots of tar and fallout removal before being rewashed and clayed.
The engine bay plastics and rubbers were dressed.

The car masked up and ready for polishing.

Badge removal usually leaves some ghosting. This was dealt with.

Polished boot lid against the bumper.

50/50 on the rear quarter.

Bonnet before and after.

Swirly front wing.

50/50 wing to door.

Driver's side wing.

The car was panel wiped to remove all polishing oils and masking tape removed.

The exhaust tips were polished and protected.
Poor photo, but the left hand tip is untouched - the right hand tip polished.

2 layers of Auto Finesse Desire applied for protection on the paint work.

Tyres dressed with Meguiar's.
Trims with Auto Finesse Revive.
Glass polished and sealed with Bouncer's Drop & Roll.
