renault scenic 1.9 dci blowing white smoke?

fidji03

New Member
My renault scenic fidji 1.9 dci has started to constantly blow white smoke when started and it gets very thick when accellerating.

I have been told that this is related to the turbo and it needs replacing.

Is this the only problem it could be?

any advise at all would be very appreciated.

some oil was coming from the exhaust but not sure about consumtion...

didnt notice any difference in performance....

???

What about cooling system (is it loosing cooling wather?)

When exhaust isnt hot enough there can be a little wather in it (condensation) and there is white smok, because of it.

If you have a lot of white smoke even when the exhaust gets hot, than you should be loosing cooling wather.
