Looking at getting the following item, anybody else used it, what can it do.

LINK

Renault want £3K for one, so it will not be as good, sound like they price there test tools like V6 bodywork.

Don't bother steve, get yourself a Snapon solus pro, less than that brand new and will diagnose all the things the renault kit will and more, the snapon kit starts to get expensive when you buy the extra leads (£1200) or go for an osciliscope (£4000),
added bonus of being able to do other makes, and good resale value when you sell it.
if you want to see one in action, come and see me.

Snapon solus pro is in a different leaque, ebay kit £220 snap on unit £2000 +, looking for something afordable but better than a cheap handheld unit.

These chinesse units are clones of the renault one, so you cant download access codes for key programme or main ECU changes but they seem to do everything else inc accessing all on board computers, ABS, Airbag etc not just engine ECU.

Cheers

can you put a link on to the product?

I have a renault can clip, Chinese copy.
Been a very useful tool and as far as I am aware can do all that a genuine Renault tool can. Maybe needs some other hardware for certain operations.
Runs tests and reads fault codes on all computers and allows resetting of all faults found ( like abs and airbag stuff ) also links to dialogys if you have a copy of that.
Care needed as you can get into things that you shouldn't be messing with without some serious knowledge.
I have a number of Renault vehicles and this has paid for itself over and over.

Not sure, not something I've done, all the info I have is with my lap top in storage elsewhere as I've just moved house. I'll look it out this week.

have had a look at this steve, am keen to find out exactly what it can do, like ecu adjustments maybe or even airbag module reseting?

Bought a V110 unit and had a play with it today.

Not a bad piece of kit, Still not up to speed with it all, But had fun using the function test feature on it and remotely switching certain items on and off from my laptop. :)
