Renault 5 group a carb ??

hi guys just wanting some info on a group a carb i reconditioned one recently and was going to put it on my renault 5 raider, just wanting some info about tuning the carb so it runs right or anything i need to upgrade for it to work properly or would i be better without the group a ? The car has an uprated head gasket also a pace core intercooler, heres a pic of some stuff that was done before i got the car and most is still on it hope you can help

I've had a few R5 GTT's, I used to stay along the coast in Fife before moving back to the Manchester area. I worked with Mike from PCS/We buy old Renaults for a number of years building R5's, R9's, R11's 21 turbo's etc... I am currently building a 19 16v cabriolet with a williams 2L with a turbo conversion, it's getting there slowly and I just got rid of my ph2 pearl white GTT a few months back. Looks like you have a nice car there, if you need anying or advice feel free to inbox me.

I bought a minter of a Fiat Uno turbo from Irvine not far from you around 2005, it was silver/blue with origonal grafix and 7 spoke 15in alloys reg was F431 OTS do you know the car?

ah nice one billy cheers, dont think i know the car my mate bought an uno turbo last year but it needs a complete re shell had the the abrath body kit on it but think it was a replica kit, and yeah my wee 5 as sitting in the garage for 2 years and te be honest i was expecting allot more rust than we have found patching up some spots on the floor and the boot was quite bad so its getting done as well but i will get there in the end lol i will defo give u an inbox for some info at some point mate cheers

iirc the grp a carb just has a restrictor pulled out and a slight bit of porting done to it.
