Renault 11 Turbo's in UK how many left? Attempt to track them all down...

Went hunting them down at the old folks a while back and only came away with the turbo2 stuff I posted before so at this moment in time it’s a no from me, gutted. In silver with black cross spoke allies diamond cut face . Sold it to buy a house , the guy who bought it part Xed a Renault 14 regency in burgundy .

Thread updated to include a minter recently for sale on eBay for £10,000

That looks nice.

I want it, but I don't £10,000 want it.

If you are going to ask ten thousand pounds for a Renault 11 you would think it would have a glowing appraisal in the description, a veritable song and dance about it's heritage and history, accompanied by a swathe of detailed pictures showing it is the very best of the best. Not under-50-words accompanied by a spelling mistake and 4 pretty poor pictures. 1/10 for effort.

It’s Monday , I see what sort of a week I have I let you know on the magic beans at the weekend. Do the magic beans come from the the late 80’s as well that would make them more appealing :)
As a matter of fact, not only are they late 80's beans formerly owned by Jack (of Beanstalk fame), but they have recently been converted to forced induction.

Completely one off, no expense spared*

You would want a good look at it to risk paying any more , it did list corrosion on the mot history . A restoration to your standard is going to be worth a lot more . I did fancy having a look . But talked myself out of it and go for something a bit more modern.

I’ve got E596YGJ, she’s just having a body paint (with new headlights and a couple of parts) and mechanical service inc water pump and radiator.

Thanks for your post @Matthew Rosier the car is looking lovley!! I've updated the original thread now and changed you to being the new owner, and also dropped in a couple of pictures of your work! Be great to read a little bit more about you and your car?? We'd welcome a thread about it with some more pictures of when it's finished!! :friends.gif:

E877 JDL was mine, I sold it to guy called Michael Goode in November 2010, roadworthy but without MOT at the time. He said he was a Renault enthusiast and would be restoring it as a project but it hasn't had an MOT and has been SORN since.
