First of all, thanks to "Big Steve" for inviting me to these boards.
My name is Vitor and I'am a very big Renault fan, mainly 80's and early 90's models. I currently own a Renault 11 Turbo PH2 that a bought 1 year ago for 1650€. Before I bought it, I took my chances on another 11's but they were all rusty buckets or mechanical nightmares. When I bought it I knew that it had allot to be done, mainly interiors and some metal work (as far as the eye can see), but it drive beautifully and it was low km (85000 km at that time). No problem... I could drive it while buying all the parts needed and hoard all the stuff before starting to pull it apart.
Gathering parts led me to start "working" as a breaker and sell parts for classic Renault like GT Turbo, 11 Turbo, 9 Turbo, Clio 16s, 19 16s. So if any of you need help with restoration, I might give you a hand.
Once I got it home I inspected it closer and see that the whole ignition circuit most be retired (leds, spark plugs, rotor and distributor cap). The AEI was also swapped for a RE360 (Renault 19 1.4), which make it advanced on the timming but made the turbo lag even more. Some parts were also missing: air filter box and intake pipe, scuttle rubber, turbo heatshield and some other stuff.

Originally the car had a sunroof which then started leaking and was removed and in it's place a sheet metal was welded. Sadly the painter used tons of filler which cracked over the time, so it will have to be fixed. I will replace the whole roof for an original non sunroof one. Also, door hinges need fixing and the drivers front side was knackered on some accident and not fixed properly.

Before I bought the car it was stood outdoors being cooked by the hot sun. That made all body plastic panels to warp, so they all need to be refurbished or replaced. Interior also need refurb. Dash needs to be replaced and driver seat too.

First parts bought:

Then a small service was performed: oil, filters, leads, spark plugs.
