Removing/replacing Gearbox or Clutch

well you only need to drop one side of the subframe, i.e the passenger side, that saves some time, crack off all the gearbox bolts before the mounts are removed this makes life a tad easier.

My version of the change, dont remove bonnet, only undo the lower ball joints, no need to remove hubs, drain box oil, remove both shafts, undo passenger side of subframe, lower down, undo starter, leave starter supported by heatshield brackets(this is fine to do) remove linkage, slacken off rear dog bone bolt and remove front bolt to allow the mount to swivel down. remove the mounts, slide box across, remove rear mount bracket, disconnect speedo, lean/stand on wishbone to lower subframe and it'll come out the side. its not necessary to support the engine if the new box is going straight on. replace clutch, fit new box, and do in reverse order.
