Re: Silverstone Classic 25/26/27 July

As you'll know, last year was our first time at Silverstone Classic, as an official club meet. Without doubt the sort of meet for our club to be associated with. A vast array of all sorts of historic motor racing legends and some of their drivers too! 8)

Definitely on for this.

Trust a Car Club Package will be organised (discounted tickets and access to infield areas) - free registration here LINK

I'm a new V6 owner and forum member so don't know if this is already sorted.

I'm a member of the Ferrari Owners club and they have specific parking for Ferrari cars and also club members get an owners club discount when booking tickets through the Silverstone Classic web site.

Hi Carl, Brett (oldskoolbaby) did a sterling job sorting hhis out for us last year, our first year as a club in fact. He's already in communication with the team at Silverstone, ready and keen for 2014. I for one can't wait!

The question is... what car will you be taking to Silverstone? (Assuming you belong to the Ferarri Owners Club, as a current owner) ;)

Sounds like you have it all sorted.

Not sure which car yet.

Is this event on the cards? I note that the main thread is locked.

In 2013 I was with PCGB, and members had to purchase their tickets by 31st March in order to get full Car Club privileges, including the advance purchase discount and infield passes (and parade lap passes). Car Club Registration is still open. Are we planning on making this in 2014?

Hi Dulan.. Brett is on the case, but I've taken a chunk of his time with Goodwood. I loved it last year.. so very much looking forward to this years event too! :)

Excellent Shaun....good to hear that. Just thought I would flag it up since all ticket purchases were to be made by 31st March to qualify for the "2 for the price of 1" tickets and infield passes.

Certainly look forward to it :approve:

Good info Dulan :approve: Obviously this applies to the PCGB, but am I right in thinking a Sunday pass would be £55 for 2 tickets i.e. £55 for the 2-4-1 deal?

Brett, let us know if you want a hand with organisation of this as I know ORS is probably taking up a lot of your spare time. I'm happy to help and I'm sure a few others would be as well.

Correct, if you book by 31st March, and £60 if you book by 31st May, which is damn good value as it includes infield passes as well. No parade lap this time though. I think the Mustangs will have its day on track - it is their 50th Anniversary.

I think the prices are the same for all car clubs.

Very good value considering the type of show on offer. Mustangs 50th as well. Absolutely getting there this year!!! 8)

Thanks Jon. I will appologise, i should have got this done sooner. Ill contact Jane this week for our C number. I did let them know of our attendance, i just need to fill the form in. I'm happy to do the same as last year and take payment. However, i think its easier for Silverstone if everyone spends 5 minutes on the web site to pay for them directly. This is because they will have a better idea of our club stand size early on. If we pull a good number in, then we will have a fantastic spot from the outset this year.

Sliver ;) stone Classic? Never heard of it! I don't mind paying Silverstone direct it's not fair on you to fork out in advance. I love Mustangs these shows are soooo much better than FCS!!
