To celebrate 10 years of the Clio V6, we are planning a european club meet along with Cliov6passion in France who have organised a track day and general meet at the Mas du Clos circuit in France. By coincidence, the French round of the Renault World Series is at Magny Cours the very same weekend so a tie in with that event is a must. This will be the number 1 Clio V 6 event of the year. Anyone who attended the v6.net French trip last year will know just what a great welcome these cars get in France, book your holidays now as this is going to be great long weekend! Hope you can make it.
This is the base format we are going for:
Friday AM 18th June 2010: Leave uk for France, Atoroute to Paris Region and special D road route to Bourges.
Friday PM 18th June 2010: arrive at Base hotel at Bourges in France.
Saturday AM 19June 2010: leave hotel for Magny Cours race track, around 80km of fast, straightish, RN roads, then spend day at Renault World series event, hopefully in collectors area parking, maybe even a track parade (TBC) then return to Bourges Hotel or a hotel designated with Cliov6 passion.
Sunday AM 20 June 2010: Drive to Mas du CLos Circuit, (around 2 hour drive or nearer if we stay at their hotel) attend CLiov6 passion "10 years of the CLio v6 event" there with other V6 clubs from Europe, track day available only for those who want it, probably a mass photoshoot, track parade and lunch.
All attending will also recieve a special gift for the occasion. Return to Bourges Hotel.
Monday 21June 2010: TBC or drive back to Eurotunnel for those who need to go straight home, poss stop over at Le mans for those who can stay another night.
Tuesday 22June: drive from Le Mans on the RN138, shopping/ whatever Return home to UK.
