5 Mk I incl Gordini R5 Turbo Gordini Alpine Project

Hi there

Hoping someone here can help out with some advice. We (the royal we, my husband does all the hard work but not good with reading and computers) are restoring an 84 R5 Turbo Gordini / Alpine. We're needing a petrol tank and headlights and thanks to Brexit! EU sellers are telling us they can't ship to UK?

I've had a look about but no joy. Would we need to customer build a tank and if so, does anyone know how we go about doing that? With the lights, is there a way we can check if any other lights would fit?

I have a brand new genuine fuel tank if you want to use it to copy from?

Will you be using it yourself or could it be available for sale ?

Beat me too it , looked at mine yesterday seams are shot so need to repair or replace

Ok worth asking as tanks are hard to come by, would be handy if someone didn't have a tank and needed the pattern / dimensions

If you need one made someone i know has had a couple done now , they use the sender opening from the old tank and make the rest
