5 Mk I incl Gordini R5 Gordini, back on the road soon

About time for some MK1 R5 content......... not so long after taking delivery of my Atmo, last November, I set about bringing it back to condition, which is now making great progress, hopefully back on the road within the next few weeks, I am keeping to the original silver. Just been expoxy coated and primed by Holdcroft auto bodies in Stoke on Trent, the same guy that also re-sprayed another members GD turbo................

I just love having usable things tho, if I take mine apart too deep, I'm just worried I'll never get the time to get it back together!!
Nothing like new paint!
It's looking good!

im the same, i always try and keep it rolling or take as little off as possible.

I am now living nr Derby, local paint shop let me down, so ended up in SOT, about 40min drive, looks as if it was worth the travel, due to collect tomorrow, couple of days to fit remaining trim and should be fully sorted, may still end up polishing the wheels...................
