R5 Atmo Gordini Rally Car work

I have raised the ride height so that when I rally the car on rough forest roads I have enough ground clearance.
 
That was the othre possibility... that you made it on poupose for the rally... but i was thinking in tarmac rally... jeje OK!!

I've been checking a pair of front stub axle carriers that I had at the same time as my TS ex-race car, they are a different shape to the ones on my two Gordini Atmos.

I wonder, were these specials made for the race series, or maybe they are the standard ones but heated up and bent?
 
I think they are different,look at one of my other posts there is a pic of upper wishbones which also differ from Dini ones.Appart from the obvious reiforcement the position of the upper ball joint is not the same.

The upper arm ball joints are in the same place on both cars, although the race car does not have the strengthened Gordini arms on.
