So, had my megane since May last year, I swapped it for my previous Clio 182 (with a small cash difference) here's the day I got it:IMG_3877.webp IMG_3880.webp IMG_3878.webp
So after taking the previous owners stickers off it, changing the renault sport badge on the rear, gb plates and removing the megane chrome letters & having the rear wndows tinted it looked better, I like the black look.

Im looking at exactly the same car for exactly the same use. Daily driver about 10/15miles a day,

Has this been alright? any niggles? needed anything doing?

Hi Stephen, I drive 15 mins to work then about 25min to collect 2 kids from nursery then back home 15 minutes every day, I love it, I have a few mods, about to get the stage 2 & 630cc injectors with 250 turbo next month so see how that goes. I took the dump valve off as it was tedious listening to the relentless sneezing under the bonnet, replaced it with a forge recirc, way better noise.

I get 27/28 to the gallon, have Yokohama AD08R tyres all round (keep it calm in icy weather) i've serviced it, replaced a driveshaft and headlight washer, so not bad at all really, done 6,000 miles in 8 months or so.

Just need to pull my finger out and get the rest of the car audio in.

That around about the same that i do, I get 30 atm from my 1.4 clio.... LY the right colour to go for?

I shall keep a look out on here for how yours goes! May use a few ideas!

I had a black R26 before but love the LY, Personally I really like the white ones too. Has to be an R26 though, differential, seats and stickers make it in my book, just makes a normal drive feel special.

After 6 years of great trouble free ownership I sold my white R26 in December ... Still miss I have to admit, such a great all rounder of a car. I bought mine with 12k on the clock and sold it with 62k and it never missed a beat.
I think as time moves on that the R26 will gain a following like the Williams has now.
