Well its updating time..
I was having to take out the battery last weekend because frankly the rusty battery tray was really getting under my skin. A snapped bolt later and about 2 hours of grinding and putting epoxy primer on it I'm happy to report my battery tray is rust-free. (no pictures). Needs a silver coating and it can go back in. (after FCS and Duxford Flying legends airshow

I though it'd be a great idea to take the airbox out, give it a clean, inspect the filter and if needed replace the airfilter... basic maintenance really.
When I came upon this sight:
the rust on the right doesn't bother me too much as I can easely sort that out (been sorted on the other side already) but that Sidemount IC is gone. It probably still holds boost (although that would explain why I feel stock 21Turbo's are highly overrated as the supposed crotch rockets they ought to be)
So,... New plan !
I need a Radiator core roughly 200mmx900mm with a thickness of 20-25mm so I can get this one of these operational:

I was hoping to put the chargecooler in when the new engine came in because I want almost all the chargecooler piping to be welded alu pipe,... but that'll have to get fasttracked now because although the SMIC probably still holds boost, now that I know it looks like that I dont want to drive it like that (yhea my mind is a weird place..)
