Does anyone know if there's a difference between the TXI and turbo front brake caliper carriers? I want to do a big brake conversion on my 19 16v cab. I have a turbo quadra with a rotten shell to take parts from, so if it's the same carrier it would be a matter of buying TXI discs and pads..

The TXi uses the same calipers as the turbo but the TXi/Turbo carriers are NOT the same as the R19 hubs.

You can use the TXi 4-stud discs though. The GT Turbo guys do it and space out the GTT caliper with adapters.

I have a friend who is getting rid of a couple of Hi-Spec calipers, and have found that Pug 406 Brembo's should fit without a bracket so will start with looking at those options.

The kit you linked is interesting though.
