putting my 21 back on the road

after ten years of sitting on my drive my 21 is coming back out. its not in bad shape but I need some parts and some advice. what is it like getting parts these days? can anyone recommend a good body shop to give it a respray and some welding if needed?

Thanks, although I think it's more I'm daft enough to get involved with them!
I've plenty of spares, as does most owners, someone always has 'it' stashed away.

Nice. So I'm after a set of straps for my fuel tank. Dave Ive spoken to Tony he said he has a set of wheels identical to yours on your quadra. Question is will they fit over wilwoods as the wheels that are on are cut away to house the calipers

Yes, straps and most parts I have are for sale. I just hoard parts so they are to hand when needed.
Would have 17's would clear.
I had issues with the the valve and other brake line components, second hand can be 50/50 and didn't resolve it so I binned the lot and fitted and adjustable one up front, tweaked on mot rollers.

Woul anyone be willing to come do my brakes for me? Im having a try now and its just seized nut after seized nut. I've got a kit to replace all the brake lines

Best option is cut the lines and get a 1/4 drive hex socket over the union end.

You can buy brake pipe, end unions and a flare kit with a cutter for under fifty quid if you want to make your own lines up, or if you cut the old ones off right at the ends, and bring them here ill make you new ones up. You need to make sure the compensator is OK first though.

Ok well ive changed the shortest pipe and i can prob get away with the passenger side front as it looks fine but the rear pipes are shot. Plus the car is on axle stands on my drive so it cannot be moved anywhere
