This was my first proper drive with other Vees since Hever 2011, and the drive after Pistonheads Sunday Service at MB World! It was long overdue, but I think today made up for it. It certainly is more fun hitting the road in a "fast-moving" convoy than on your own!

I miss those drives they used to be awesome. Show and shine is all well and good but a decent blast is what makes owning the vee special. Glad you all had a good time. Any in-car footage of a vee going up the hill?

Nas, I am sure you would have loved it. It was a proper drive Certainly wasn't poodling around - in 3rd and 4th mostly, into 5th for the straight bits. Got into 6th only on A roads. Great fun between Beaconsfield and Stow. Pity you guys couldn't make it.

We should definitely organise a drive sometime. Somebody needs to get his car back on the road though

Thank you Shaun, I shall be attending next year minus the misses. I can then keep up with Dulan's spirited driving and stay longer instead of having to drop Katie off at the station.

Loved the Ferrari driving past us, the women's expressed made me chuckle on the way home

Sam, I had lost intertest by the time we hit the stretch with the loose chips/gravel and then got stuck behind some cruisers. I would have been in exactly the same predicament had my wife accompanied me.

Loved the Ferrari that cruised past us though. Shame I missed meeting the owners. Fascinating story.

Sounds awesome!! 3rd tops out at 95mph. 4th at 120mph! We were on Somebody's stag-do. I don't think Cardiff knew what hit them! Somebody has just about recovered from it all. He will never be the same :rofl:
