A little burnt, suprised by how nice the weather was! Further thanks to Dulan for arranging the drive over, that was great fun.

Awesome day apart from my dad opening my door into Sam's car (somehow no damage, our over polished and waxed cars saved the day. Tit. I wanted to die) and about 15 miles of loose clippings on the road between Stow and Prescott. Gah!

Great to meet most of you, great to see others again, the cavalcade was surprisingly good fun apart from the idiot with the stupid hat crawling in front of me. ;)

Excellent photos Duncan :approve:

Fantastic weather, great venue (loved it last year as well), great hospitality, courtesy of Renault Alpine Owners Club.
What a fantastic day out, barring the slight hiccups, first with the road closure en route to Stow and then the loose gravel on the B4007 [smilie=icon_aaargh.gif] It was a real shame we could not enjoy the drive from Stow to Prescott like we did the one from Beaconsfield to Stow ;)

Great to see everybody. This was my first proper drive with other Vees since Hever 2011, and the drive after Pistonheads Sunday Service at MB World! It was long overdue, but I think today made up for it. It certainly is more fun hitting the road in a "fast-moving" convoy than on your own!

How about something similar on the way to Kimbolton?

Great to see everyone again and really enjoyed the blast from beaconsfield even though I still felt I was leaning the limits of the car most of the time [smilie=icon_eek.gif] really good show and hospitality and even great weather.duncan nice pics came out really well :approve:

Great day!
Well done to RAOC for another well organised event. : )
Thanks for posting up the pictures Duncan (one for the family album there!) I agree that the LY and MR looked awesome side by side. Good to see a smattering of 230 examples too...
can't wait to get out in mine now!

What a great day!!
Thanks to all that were able to attend, good to meet Sam and his Mrs for the first time, and see the car is looking equally as good as when I first saw it under Glenn's ownership :) Great to see you all. [cmilie=iconcheers.gif] The drive in sounded great, kinda wish I'd tagged along now lol.

A big thanks goes out to Stephen, Sarah, and others from RAOC for their hospitality again!
Mucho appreciated

Thanks also to JT for his support and bringing along a selection of cars including the new RS200t for us all to have a good look at. Far far better in the flesh guys... :approve:

Highlight of the day was chatting to a really great couple that past the guys on their way in, in an amazing 1953 Type 166 Ferrari Mille Miglia, alloy Barchetta body by Vignale. They had owned it since 1960! Hello to Sue and Bernard if you're reading this! :approve: Please do not hesitate to contact us regarding the purchase of your Clio v6 :approve: :race:

This meet has really wetted my pallet.. Roll on Montlhery 2013

Hilariously this was the couple that drove past the V6 convoy on the loose chippings ;)

Thankfully they gave us a wide berth, I can imagine Duncan getting a sweat on though

Fantastic pictures, nice to see some Mk1's on patrol

Is LP51 on coilovers? Also did you paint your calipers Duncan? she is looking great :approve:

There was a good showing of tidy Mk1's, wearing original rear lights too which was nice to see. LP51 is on standard suspension i think? PMO is on coilovers, it looked like it was sat on the deck on the grass! Sits very nicely that one, especially on 18's.

Thanks Ben, the calipers were painted when i got it unfortunately, minus points for originality there. The red doesnt offend me, but I'm going to paint them black at some point to tone it down a little.

that blooming road with the chippings on it.....never seen anything like it!!!!

Great photos!! Looks brilliant and missed a treat but was busy finalising the purchase of 261!

None of Steve and Liz Swan or Dave Wheeler in the 8 Gordinis?? Real hard core rear engined Renaults from a byegone era!

Nah just standard. Two fat bastards on board gives that impression ;)

Thank you Shaun, I shall be attending next year minus the misses. I can then keep up with Dulan's spirited driving ;) and stay longer instead of having to drop Katie off at the station.

No damage so no problem Mick, I was very jealous of your sprint on the first stretch of the hill. I was gutted I didn't sign up and wished I could have heard the echo from my exhaust.

Loved the Ferrari driving past us, the women's expressed made me chuckle on the way home

Best regret by far was my choice of shorts . . .

Few women had a good eye full lets say and at the beginning of the event wasn't a good idea
