Have you checked the fuses / relays to make sure one hasn't jumped out of its socket?

^^^ Good thinking. Found one of my relays on the floor once.

Im not very good with things like this- Am I looking for a coventional fuse box to check fuses- or is it a little more complicated than that-

Where am I supposed to be looking???

If the fan does not work A.C. will not come on

Had a quick look at the fuses- All looks in order-

However in the maintenaince book & on the fuse cover there isnt actually a symbol for Cooling fan- ??
There is one for Engine Fan - but nothing for A/C or interior fan ???

Strange..

I meant the heater fan not the fans at the front of the radiator.

Just looked in handbook and the fuse is not called up, I will look in the workshop manual and try and find out more.

Could be a relay sticking or U.S.

Does the heater fan come on when you set to full speed ?

It would seem the following fuses are associated with the A.C.

F3 = 15A

F6 = 10A

F34 = 20A

If the inside fan does not work fan may be U.S. or the speed controlloer U.S.

A Renault Dealer can soon connect his Diagnostic Computer and carry out the checks, all clearly stated in the manual and locate the fault fairly quickly.

I think there are more fuses / relays in the front boot (this was certainly the case in the 182), covered by the black plastic box with the gold screw pin holding it down - make sure all the big plastic 'blocks' are all in place.

I had my compressor replaced a couple of months ago under warranty thank the gods and now she blasts icy cool air on demand, essential in this heat. All the symptoms I had was a slight squeal from the belt now and again for a second, a shredded belt can cause major havock in there :wink:
