Could somebody post a picture of a standard cylinder head of a vee if they have one or know where one is. In particular the inlet tracts. I have been going over the TWR development engine I have and along with the trick inlet manifold, the heads look a little different as to what I remember my old engine having.

Thanks guys

Hi Brett, not got any photos handy of the heads but a couple of the Ph1 lower inlets if it's any help. Yes, I know the uppers look a little different from standard ;)

Ohhhhh!! Si just sent me a pic of his. Beautiful work mate. Very nice. The ones here are opened up loads in comparison but that doesn't necessarily mean its better as I know there are sleeved down heads too. I did remove grey/white injectors though which Mr Patchall pointed out are uprated. Maybe this inlet is commanding a tad more fuel.

Glad you like the handy work ;)
Are the inlets opened right up like these Trophy lowers?

This is the bottom section buddy. Obviously miles different from an original ph1. This is the head.

Lotus development I'm guessing!!!!!
If they have put work into the inlet side it might be worth getting this baby on a dyno ;)

That's some tasty fibre glassing work on the upper inlets, that in itself is a work of art :approve:

Looks Petrol Blue to me mate. But then I haven't seen mine clean for a while lol.

The inlet is made out of a really strong resin Phill. I doubt the lower part would be any good on anything other than a dyno engine as it would probably break up over time. The Lotus engineer I was talking to when I picked it up said they were pushing on for over 280hp with a handfull of the engines. I'm not sure what cams it has as I've got a few sets with it which I need to take a closer look at. Some are marked with 260*, some 270* and I reckon there are some typical ph1 grinds.
