Phase 1 non UK no 486

Hi, I have found this for sale, and I cant seem to find anything history wise on her...anyone know it at all??, our register says NON UK but the dash is in miles...??

Reg is YJ52 KRC, milage showing is over 99k too!!!!! 11 owners on hpi!!!! Surely someone must know her please??

Any help would be ace - Thanks in advance, as I want to save her from the clutches of further serious decline, as its not in a very good state...and thats being polite.

Hi,

non U.K., doesn't literally mean it's not a U.K. Car, it just means it hasn't had its original factory plaque replaced by Renault UK with a Renault UK one.

As there are UK plaques and non U.K. (Or think of these as factory plaques) there are two phase ones wearing plaque 486.

If you look at the entry UK car [v6plaque]486[/v6plaque] you will see the car in question.

Know it well, have seen it a few times over the year. The last owner was on here too.

Great! thank you for clearing that up, it makes a little more sense now...so I guess it comes down to, can I save her or not? As there is no history (non recent at least, since 42k in 200...is there a way to contact the previous owners through here at all please? As I would like to fill in a few more blanks history wise, before I take the plunge mabe? Thanks in advance for you help hopefully?

Previous owner was Si0486. Same car, different Reg plate.

Yes, the info you have read is all about ph1 UK plaque [v6plaque]486[/v6plaque]. Which is right hand drive. YJ52KRC.

Non U.K. [v6plaque]486[/v6plaque] is left hand drive and not in the UK if that helps! It has also never been owned by anyone on this forum.

I find it clearer if you only deal in chassis numbers. The plaque numbers are frought with little foibles!

Whoever decided to replace the factory plaques with U.K. Plaques has a lot to answer for!

Didn't buy it...auction hammer figure was 13.3 plus the fees, so circa 13.7 landed etc...she was a seriously tired and almost, a worn out example though, 11 owners, 99.9k miles...

It may just turn up in the future hopefully back to its former glory, but thought the price information, just as a guide might help someone.
