PH1 standard

My flat mate is quite a keen photographer so he did some stuff with cameras. He basically put welding glass over the lens and set it to a 4-5 minute exposure at sun set? The results were pretty nice...

Completely standard PH1, originally NI but switched it over to a GB logbook, 14000 miles, completely standard and pretty much immaculate apart from the slightly pitted exhaust, broken strap on the toolbox (i really must sort that out) and a couple of stone chips on the front bumper.

I've been lurking around for a while but finally plucked up the courage to start posting!

Cheers, had it for 6 months now. Originally wanted a PH2, plus I'd fallen for some of the anti-PH1 hype, but in my budget they were slightly shabbier than I'd want, so decided on a perfect PH1 instead. Always loved the V6, was between that and a Focus RS but rear wheel drive, exclusivity, looks, fun, community and the noise won it for me. Wasn't really very close... Also been tempted by Evos/S2000, even got quite close to getting a Boxster (thankfully I got over that brief flirt)

Yep being kept standard except for an obnoxiously loud exhaust I've yet to find...

I'm also a Mini obsessive, own a 1973 1300cc that's going to be kicking out about 130bhp, currently off the road but I can't wait to compare and contrast! I either drive pocket rockets or barges and very little in between.

Sounds good . . . . . and expensive! I've got a 1960 mk1 miglia. Had a 16v turbo'd A seires in it a few years back but got bored of rebuilds every 5 minutes so sold the engine and bought my vee. Still have it but its to be R1 powered. You will struggle to find comparrison between the two with a 130bhp miglia engine. 140 gets you sub 5 seconds to 60mph on slicks. Sub 4 seconds if its drasically lightened. Both cars offer huge grin factors though!
