PH1 fog lights

They are indeed the part numbers listed for a PH1. Don't forget to visit the members area tab for RPD discount code.

Just to be aware they are used on other cars and are cheaper if you don't buy genuine. It's a fog lamp that will lets face it hardly ever be used.

Sadly cracked a fog light on my first outing with the V6

Has anybody ever replaced with non genuine fogs?
Is replacing both a good idea? Dont want it too look obvious one is newer than the other - OCD indeed!
Does anybody know the actual make of the light manufacturer? Magneti?

Many thanks

P.s. I love this car!! :)

That's just typical isn't it Ben... When I've had one go, I've replaced both if the other looks aged. i believe they are made by Lucas. Megan's Scenic fogs are straight, matching fit for a ph2, with just done minor adjustment for a ph1 if I recall correctly. I think there was a thread about it somewhere.

Thanks for this, I thought they may have come from another Reno

Any idea which year of Megane?

The Megane scenic ones are pretty much identical to ph1 fogs, but you do need to chop a little off one side of a connector to get it to fit. A little green bit from memory. Simple enough to do on the fly as your fitting it.
The pattern in the glass is however ever so slightly different from OEM. You could run with a mix and match and it's unlikely you would ever notice, but you may want to consider doing both.

Been a bit of a nightmare this. I ordered two diffrent pairs to ECP but had to order them in to a store so went along to have a look and they are completly diffrent to that on the V6, clear lens on the V but these were covered in lines etc. Not sure if a EU thing, this was me using my reg plate.
I then went up to Renault, as usual they dont have a clue! gave them a part no, not in stock, asked me what it was off, he came out to look at it and was trying to tell me it was aftermarket lol. Absolute rocket.
Anyway ended up getting in touch with RPD, they also updated there webiste picture to show it is a clear lens, so I now have two correct fog lights which look very fresh and to be fair Renault were a fair bit more than that from RPD
Just thought I would update.
Only thing which may have been worth trying is to order a fog light for a Scenic as mentioned above.

Just for info I got mine from a french car part supplier in Rutherglen Glasgow (cant remember the name) they were very helpful.

Ben, just 'fyi'.. the earlier fogs for the ph1 did have a reeded pattern in the glass. They were updated to the clear ones. I'm 99.9% sure of this.

Sounds like you've got there in the end anyway. Any chance ofthe part number and price charged please? :)
