Front fog lights

I took my V6 ph1 down to my local garage last week. To check out my front fog lights which haven't been working since purchase a couple of years ago.

After inspection I've been advised the wiring loom that connects to the rear of the fog lights has worn & will need part replacing. Unsure if anybody has experienced a similiar issue? However if somebody can please point me in the right direction as to where I can obtain replacement wiring & connectors then that would be much appreciated?

Unsure whether its the same the same wiring & connectors that you find on a similiar year 172/182. Presume there the same foglights?

Thanks

No idea about the parts/loom or the nuances of your specific issue, but one I am aware of is a common issue with the rear lights, and that's corrosion on the fast connectors.

Could this be part of the cause?

Remove the lights and check the pins on the connectors, if there is any rust on the contacts, rub it off with a bit of emery paper and see if that fixes it?

If the connectors are knackered as shown here:

Then replacement connectors needed, which are the same as any mk2 clio.

Sorry if thats of no help at all!
