First one of 2013. TRACK TIME AVAILABLE

You know the drill by now! Around about 400 of 700 places already gone. Added my name but not sure if I can attend at the mo, but if I do go I'll try and do the usual rendevous/convoy arrangements uptake dependant.

Time to get the 2013 Sunday Service tour on the road again and after taking a well-earned break in January we are ready to stand on the gate and welcome you once more.

We attempted a visit to Silverstone for an early Sunday Service last year, but snow stopped play and we were delayed until April, but lightning doesn't strike twice ... does it? Being believers in fate we return to the shadows of the Silverstone Wing on Sunday 17th February from 09.00 - 13.00.

We're starting big with a 700-car capacity on the day and, as usual, you'll need to sign up on the calendar to be guaranteed a space when you arrive. No name means no entry. That's not us being mean - we just have to make the best use of the space available and this is the fairest way.

If you aren't familiar with our Sunday Service meets, they are very simple in format. PHers arrive from all corners of the country, pass gate security (us lot) and park up. After that it's all about admiring other cars, buying some breakfast and enjoying the surroundings, but that's not all for this event, oh no...

You may enjoy the Sunday Service in the traditional format of parking, mooching and eating, or you could head out on track for a special PH taster track session instead. Aimed primarily at the track novice, these sessions last for 30 minutes and are charged at only £39! Click here for more information, and if you book we'll all be watching you on track!

A few points to note before booking

A maximum of 2 slots can be booked in advance – please leave a gap of at least 35 minutes between sessions.
Sessions take place on the National Circuit
Pre-booking is required, but additional slots can be booked on the day subject to availability.
Please ensure drivers have read our T&Cs / Driver Information prior to booking.
Insurance - it should be noted that standard insurance will not cover track day driving.
To sign up for a regular Sunday Service parking space, just click this link and add your name.

If any kind PHers would like to offer assistance on the gate/with parking please get in touch. Thanks in advance.

Looking like I'll be in the vee for this one :) No track time for me but would love a passenger ride if anyone's feeling brave!! Lol

First PH meet of the year is always a good one and it's a chance to shake off the winter blues and get back to what we all love doing; driving vees and looking at cars :)

Last one was extremely well attended so it'd be great to get as many if not more there this time round :approve:

I got in at no. 688 but I am supposed to be working that day .... I will leave my name on the list til closer to the time.

Nice one Nas :approve:

For any late takers, do put your name down as between 100-200 people do normally drop off in the week leading up to the event, so all is very much not lost. If you're a 'maybe' just whack you're name down anyhow as, like Nas says, you can always just take it off nearrer the time.

If things are looking dicey in the few days leading up to the event people usually come from a variety of different directions and there were a number of lift shares last time so do pipe up if you want to come but aren't on the list.

With the tracktime incentive there should be a few trackday specials attending :approve:

Just saw this, and signed up at 807!

Not sure as yet whether I can make it but will give it a go if I can...........

Found out that the trackday isn't part of the PH event, it just happens to be running on the same day. This means that we can not only enjoy the variety of cars that rock up but and also have a good looksie at some of the trackday specials in action.

If you've never been to a PH Sunday Service before, then it really is worth the effort. It's a good chance to put faces to forum names ahead of the summer show season and is generally a good crack. Appreciate it might be too soon for the SORNers, then again you don't have to attend in the Vee.

It's also only on between 9am and 1pm with people allowed to come and go as they like, so you could fit it round any other bits and pieces you may need to do that Sunday.

Be good to catch up Dulan. Really enjoyed Goodwood :approve:

Indeed Jon. Will try to make it if I can, and of course if I get into the main list

Yeah, Goodwood was fun.......guess there are no dirt tracks around Silverstone for us to go green laning ;)

Got my name down a while back ,hope to make it ,just a bit of a trek for me but be good to meet up again and enjoyed Goodwood so this should be good and hopefully no off roading this time :approve:

Haha, you buggers - not my finest moment. No idea what mrs sat nav was doing. It did prove that 4WD works in the countryside though ;)

^^^As its a public trackday I would imagine yes. At the very least you'd be able to park in the public car park and walk through. Be warned its a longish walk from the car park to where the event is usually held.

Alternatively (and easier probably) which direction you coming from? Could grab a spare seat or could meet someone close to S'stone and hop in?

Note sure if anyone's piped up from up North, I know that the people that have registered an interest are all coming from the South. Unless a spare seat from the North appears praps it's best to arrange to grab a lift? You can happily ride shotgun with me if worse come to worst, but if I'm in the vee it will be LOUD. Lol

Few weeks yet for others to get involved so I guess we can play it by ear :approve: if memory serves me correct there was a fair amount of late interest on here last time with a bunch of people signing up only a few days before.

No problem and thanks for the offer, I will see how it goes closer to the time and probably drive down and spectate.

That is a pity guys.

I am still way down in the reserve list so may have to miss it anyway..............
