I was just as SURPRISED in a good way to see you there. You were absolutely fantastic company, it wouldnt have been the same without you. Ps everyone ozbird is one awesome driver keeping up with a Lamboghini Gallardo in the EVO triangle in the wet! :bow: ABSOLUTE LEGEND! :race:

Impressive. One question though, i have been wanting to book this event- or the scottish one they sometimes do but i keep stopping myself thinking the guys with porsches/lambos etc will all be idiots?

Aah Nas you'll get me all embarrassed now! Your effervescence made it a great weekend.

It was very well organised and from what I saw everyone drove very responsibly. Enthusiastic maybe, but not stupidly so. Obviously it's down to the crowd they get on the day, but based on this outing I would recommend it!

So what did you make of the evo triangle, its good but its not the best wales has to offer. Look at the 4391- road that leaves bala, i've had some of my best moments with the V6 down that road, including a 4 wheel drift over a series of crests. I think we need a meet organising!

Sounds like a plan! Regards other drivers they are all quite sensible and mature and we have radios to let each other know its clear to overtake etc. We had 28 cars! Normally its 16 but the more the merrier! Stick near the front is where all the best action is!

Or we could use the idea to organise a mammoth elan valley/evo run and use the fantastic roads around there. The mountain road from the elan valley towards Aberystwyth is epic (as long as its clear- in which case the bumper will be hitting the tarmac)- not that i have driven any of these many times!

Your 'aerial' shot of the Brecon carpark is great. I really wanted one from up there but no way I was climbing up that muddy slope!

Paul Vine the Lotus Carlton driver took that one as well. I dont remember him taking it either! Tom the guy in the Jag messaged me to say you missed the dam?!?! I messaged back WE WERE FOLLOWING THE LAMBO!! Explains it all really!! As regards the muddy slope getting up was the easy bit but getting down was daunting and I slipped a couple of times lol! No traction control or ABS on my trainers!! :rofl:

He was telling a story that about ten years ago every friday night two silver vees would come to the valleys drive around for a while and then the drivers would right notes into books. No doubt prototype vees. Possibly the books Stephen has in his possession?
