Hello.

Tried this cable and software few moments ago in my Mk1 Clio(E7J). But it doesn't work. It says in a small window that it found 56bits(?) and one other parameter I can't remember at the moment(it's value is 2). When I click on the checkbox to open the dials it opens them in another window as it should but they don't work(no movement from dials). And parameters in the middle are stationary(default values). I use laptop with Windows Vista Home Premium.
And it's no different if it's pluged in before or after starting the engine.
Any ideas?

No, no data there, all parameters there are default e.g. coolant temp= -40°C, etc.

Yes. I tried again this morning but no success. I'll try with some other computer using Windows XP. Hopefully it'll work. If not I'll open the big connector and search for some faults there, maybe something broke in the transport. Anyway I'm electrical engineer, I'll do my best to fix it, but you never know what to expect with this french cars.

It sounds like it's getting data, maybe it's an unrecognised model, is it in anyway unusual??

The board is very simple so if it's getting any data it should be ok.

Have you a terminal program that will open the serial port at 62500bps?

What do you mean by unrecognised model? The car? Or software?
I don't know if I have a terminal program that will open the serial port at 62500bps, should I have it? I mean, I only installed the software and cable driver. I had to copy that ftd2xx.dll file in system 32 folder to get software working ok.
