Painting the indent on the bonnet a different colour

Thinking of finally getting round to painting the bonnet.
As the filled "scab" is currently half over the indent in the bonnet, I'm thinking I might paint the whole indent silver (to go with the silver trim)..so it the car would be red and then silver for the indent on the bonnet. What you reckon? or should I just keep it standard?
