Oxygen Sensor...

...is it serious if this is playing up.

Tried cancelling the fault codes and turning off the engine management light...but the fault keeps returning and the light on the dash comes back on.

Am I right in thinking the sensor/s are located near the cat/exhaust?

Had the same problem with mine - eventually black smoke came out of the back because faulty reading from 2 sensors due to incorrect fuel mixtures, oil was black as well - well worth changing!

Any idea what side/position the No2 Sensor is on?

Hi the service light has been on since I bought the car a few weeks ago & its seems to drive ok but obviously something is wrong so had a diag & came up 'DF449 UPSTREAM OXYGEN SENSOR No2 CURCUIT'
Purchased a new Bosch sensor last week Jacked car up to replace & noticed three sensors! so could someone give me an idea of which one it actually is & where it's located please.
